You're invited to the official opening of Børsen Scene on the second floor of Bankplassen! This evening marks the beginning of a new chapter for Bankplassen, and we hope you'll join us in celebration. The evening features an official opening ceremony with a ribbon cutting by the mayor, followed by a concert with Skabelon.

Mats Ruland grew up in Ålesund and has roots in Sykkylven. In recent years, he has mediated in several demanding labour disputes. He will share insights into the National Mediator's Office, how wages are determined in Norway, and how wage negotiations actually unfold.

The Region
Explore Sunnmøre
Sykkylven sits at the heart of Sunnmøre. Hundeidvik lies at the mouth of Hjørundfjorden, from where you can catch the ferry to Standal and onwards to the car-free village of Trandal. We'd recommend a visit to the charming Christian Gaard Bygdetun, which hosts blues, rock and country festivals each summer. From Sykkylven, you can take day trips to Geiranger in Stranda, Trollstigen in Rauma, Tafjordfjella in Fjord, Runde in Herøy, and the Art Nouveau town of Ålesund.
