Explore Sunnmøre
Sykkylven sits at the heart of Sunnmøre. Hundeidvik lies at the entrance to Hjørundfjorden, and from here you can take the ferry to Standal and on to the car-free village of Trandal. We'd recommend visiting the charming Christian Gaard Bygdetun, where they host blues, rock and country festivals each summer. From Sykkylven, you can take day trips to Geiranger in Stranda, Trollstigen in Rauma, Tafjordfjella in Fjord, Runde in Herøy, and the Art Nouveau town of Ålesund.
