In the summer of 2023, Sykkylven showed itself at its finest on NRK Sykkelsommer (NRK Cycling Summer). Not every day do cyclists find themselves welcomed at such a lavish Sunnmøre cake table—but you'll soon see why cycling here feels entirely natural. After all, Sykkylven and cycling do rather go together.
Whether you favour a road bike or off-road trails, you'll find plenty of options on Bikemap. Apps like Strava display route lengths and elevation profiles for established tracks. Dedicated members of the Sykkylven cycling club have built pumptrack trails, cleared forest routes and organise rides for all ages.
