At Ørsneset in Sykkylven, you'll find one of the largest concentrations of substantial burial mounds. Six mounds dot this remarkable landscape.
At Ørsneset in Sykkylven, you'll discover one of the region's most significant clusters of Bronze Age burial mounds. Evidence suggests they date from the Early Bronze Age, around 3,500 years ago, though the later Iron Age (roughly 300–550 AD) cannot be ruled out. Six mounds are scattered across this archaeologically rich terrain, each a silent witness to the communities that once thrived along these fjord-side slopes.
