When you arrive the top of Aurdalsnibba you will be rewarded with a spectacular view of Sunnmørsalpane, the fjord and island out in the sea. This is a demanding trip, but not airy, so this can be a nice trip for active children. It takes about 2-3 hours to reach the top.

Follow the road towards Ramstaddal, when you reaches a sign that shows Haugsetvegen you turn right, then you follow the sign to Statnett until you see a toll road (40 kr) towards Sunndalen, you follow the road until you can see a sign on the right side of the road marked "Aurdalsnebba".

The path starts at the opposite side of the parking lot. The first part of the path is through a forest with a rather steep ascent. As soon as you get out of the forest, you have left behind the steepest part. As soon as you comes out of the forest you will get an nice view. Furthermore there is a steady rise upwards. Along the path there are built blocks of stone that show where the path is, a large part of the path is stone watch. Fine and rugged terrain all the way to the top.
